In order to pray for Emperor Daigo's bliss, Emperor Suzaku started the construction of a five-storied pagoda, and it was completed in 951 of a reign of the Murakami Emperor. This pagoda is the oldest building in a Kyoto prefecture, and the only building which does not suit a fire. 38.16m height. national treasure.
