Kobe City Nagata district received big damage due to the collapse and a fire of the timbered house at the Hanshin-Awaji (Kobe) Earthquake in 1995. Afterwards, the revival construction is done by the readjustment of town lots. The monument made of steel of Gigantor was constructed as a symbol of the earthquake disaster reconstruction.
