Konkai-komyoji, also the Kurodani Temple, is a Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan. It is a major temple of the Jodo Sect of Buddhism. This temple became the base of the Kyoto protection force at the end of shogunate, and 1,000 soldiers of the Aizu clan were residing. The graves of Aizu and Kuwana men who died at the Battle of Toba-Fushimi are located at this temple.
