Red/Blue Glasses are required to view the images ( red on left,blue on right ).
The double sliding wooden panels are placed in the west end of the first room. On the right side panel, a float for Gion-Matsuri, one of the biggest festival in Japan, is minutely painted using vivid colors. On the back of the left panels, another type of floats are painted. These pictures well represented the prosperous civil culture in those days.
