Tochoji Temple is said to be esoteric Buddhism temple was founded by Kukai who returned from 806 years from Tang. There are wooden Shakanyorai seated, which was completed in 1992, as Fukuoka Great Buddha at height of 10.8. And The five-story pagoda was build in 2011 . Echizen lord Kuroda family tomb in the precincts have been selected for their historic sites.
