Kara-mon gate

Kara-mon gate is located on the south side of Ninomaru Palace. Built in 1603 of the Momoyama period end, and it was with the current figure in the renovation of 1626. Karahafu sticks, gabled structure, the roof is a four-legged gate sides. Richly colored sculpture is given. It becomes beautiful repair work is completed. It is designated as an important cultural property.
