Honenji Temple in Takamatsu is the family temple of Takamatsu Matsudaira. This temple has been enshrined founder Honen of Jodo sect. This temple has Buddha of Nirvana statue. In 2011, five-story pagoda was built as a memorial project of Honen eight hundred years.
