The present Xian rampart is built with brick on the basis of the Changan castle of Tang. 2.6km of north and south, 4.2km of east and west, and the circumference have the width of those with 13.7km, and the upper part 12 to 14m, and a height of 12m. The gate of 15 is in a rampart now.
