Xian in Chinese Shaanxi province just had capital Changan of Tang in the ancient city with a population of 7 million. Various capitals will be placed for 2,000 years from the 11th century of B.C., and it is famous also as a starting point of the Silk Road, and is surrounded by the rampart built by Ming Dynasties also now. There are many ruins including Emperor Qin's Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses in a suburb.
