Ueno Toshogu Shrine was built in the hill in Ueno in 1617. The third generation general Iemitsu will rebuild to the present shrine pavilions after that in 1651. Ieyasu, the 8th generation Yoshimune, and the 15th generation Yoshinobu are offered to Ueno Toshogu. Shrine pavilions, Copper lantern, stone construction Myojin torii, etc. are designated as the important cultural property.
