In 1931 along with the reconstruction of the present castle tower, the Japanese garden annexed to Kishu-Goten Mansion which doesn't exist now, was made by Osaka City. The pond in the center of the garden is about 990 square meter and backed by a small hill. From the south corner of the garden, you can enjoy the great view of the castle tower with the garden in the front.
