Kotho Sanzan is a generic name of three Tendai sect buddhist temples located east of Lake Biwa. The buddhist temple is Saimyo-ji Temple, Kongorin-ji Temple, and Kudara-dera Temple. A lot of national treasures and important cultural assets are preserved. It is famous as the showplace of the autumn tint.
