Nagusa shrine (Hyogo Japan)
Main hall
The sanctuary has a lot of elaborate sculptures. For example, there are sculptures of lion on both sides of the columns at the front gate. Under the eaves there is a Chikara-doushi, which is the sculpture of a strong child. The shrine can be divided into Nai-Naijin(inner sanctuary), Naijin(sanctuary) and Gejin(nave) and the eaves around them. The building is mentioned in the Edo Period (1615-1868) as a shrine structure for a mixture of Shinto gods and Buddhist deities.
