The Senzan mountain that exists in Awajishima is a mountain that is called "Awaji Fuji". It is said that it is a Japanese myth and two gods "izanagi" and "izanami" are mountains created first. Senko-ji Temple in the top of a mountain was built in 901-922 as a place that related to the Daigo emperor. A present building was rebuilt in Edo period.
