|
Longhua temple is a Zen sect buddhist temple that Sun Quan of Kure created in 242 AD . A present building was built in Song. Longhua Pagoda in eight corner seven layers that has built in front of the buddhist temple is assumed the first rebuilding Northern Song, and the oldest buddhist temple in Shanghai. The overall restoration is done in 1979.
