This 12.5 tatami-mat room has a tokonoma alcove and an ornamental recess with a shelf on the north side. The wall of the tokonoma is sprinkled with gold dust in shapes of clouds and decorated with traditional Japanese poems with respective pictures. The bottom of the wall is covered with diamond shape patterns of deep blue and gold, witch extended to the sliding doors. Five uneven-size zelkova boards are dynamically arrenged and form the ornamental shelf called the "Shelf of Mist".
