Todaiji Temple (Nara Japan)
Daibutsu hall
Center of Todai-ji Temple is Daibutsu hall. Daibutsu hall was burnt down twice in the fire caused by war Tairanoshigehira in 1180, fire caused by war in the battle of Matsunaga Miyoshi in 1567. Daibutsu hall is the current building was reconstructed in 1709. Head of the Buddha cast in 1690, kaigen memorial event have been made in 1692.
