Burmese rock python

The Burmese rock python comes from the rain forests of Southeast Asia. One of the worlds largest snakes, it can grow up to 5.5 metres long and weigh up to 70 kilograms. Pythons are nocturnal and like to hide in the trees. They are also good swimmers and prefer to live near water.
