Sagami-ji is a Shingon Buddhist temple in Kasai, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Emperor Shomu ordered its construction in 745 at the request of Gyoki, a Buddhist priest. Sagami-ji has been caught in fire many times. The current temple was re-emerging in the Edo era. This temple is located next to the Sumiyoshi shrine.
