The cliff stone FudoMyooh

The furious FudoMyooh is carved on cliff surface of the flat granite which is 6m high, 4m wide. The statue with a halo of fire stands in the boat shaped dent which is 2.36m high, 1.35m wide. The height of statue is 1.75m. It was made in late kamakura Period, presumably Koan age (1278-1288). This statue is the oldest of its kind in Hyogo prefecture.
