The 48 Ukawa Buddha is a stone statue of the Buddha of Amitabha Tathagata with a height of about 1.3m. Some whose 48 origin was suit the theft of two images by moving 13 images to Otsu-shi Sakamoto, and 33 images remain now. It is specified as the historic relics of the Shiga prefecture.
